Both fabrics are suitable for most homes with pets, however they perform a little differently.

Electra's tightly knitted velvet surface is generally less prone to snagging from sharp claws, making it the better choice for homes with scratching pets. Marlo offers beautiful texture and warmth but, like most woven upholstery fabrics, benefits from a little extra care around sharp claws.
