Rest the base flat on the floor and let the top sit against the wall. For peace of mind, especially in homes with children or pets, we recommend anchoring a leaning mirror to the wall with a safety strap or bracket so it cannot be pulled or knocked forward.
Always position it on a level, stable floor with the base flush to the ground, and anchor the top to the wall using an anti-tip strap or restraint fixed into a stud. This is the single most important safety step for any tall freestanding mirror.

Your mirror is packed in protective packaging designed for safe transit. Given the size and weight, please have someone available to receive and help position it on delivery.
